How to use this tool

Are the pieces mathematically accurate?
Yes, the printable cutout sheet uses exact geometric fractions to build a perfect 7-piece tangram square.
What is a tangram puzzle?
A shape puzzle made from seven pieces (five triangles, a square and a parallelogram). The solver arranges all seven pieces, without overlapping, to fill an outline.
How do readers use a tangram page?
They cut out the seven pieces (or use a tangram set) and arrange them on the outline. The answer key shows where each piece goes.
Which KDP trim sizes and margins does the Tangram Maker support?
Every Amazon KDP paperback trim size from 5" × 8" to 8.5" × 11", including 6" × 9", 7" × 10", 8" × 10", 8.5" × 8.5" square and A4. Margins go from 0.375" to 0.875" to match KDP's inside-margin rule for your page count, with no bleed. Anything that would cross a margin is scaled to fit, so pages never break.
Can I make large print Tangram pages?
Yes. Choose Large print or Extra large and every text, number and line prints about 1.4× or 1.75× bigger. Below the preview the page shows its smallest text size in points: large print books usually use 14 pt or more, extra large 18 pt or more. For grids, a smaller grid or a larger trim size keeps the letters big.
How many Tangram puzzles can I make?

Can I sell books made with these pages on Amazon KDP?

Are the files print-ready for KDP?
Yes. PNG files are 300 DPI at the exact trim size (the DPI is stored in the file) and SVG files are vectors, both with the content inside your margins. Place them in your interior file in Word, Affinity, InDesign or Canva and export a PDF for KDP, or use the multi-page PDF directly.
